The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Grant 

This annual grant provides a system for funding arts and cultural projects in Calcasieu Parish only.  As applicants compete only with other organizations in Calcasieu Parish, decisions about cultural priorities are made locally.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury disburses the funds to the Arts Council, which in turn re-grants those dollars to non-profit organizations, organizations or individuals with fiscal agents, or schools in Calcasieu Parish for specific arts projects. 

FY 2012 Grant Dates:

December 31, 2012: Grant activity ends.

February 11, 2013: Hard deadline for final reports.

FY 2013-2014 Grant Timeline:

Friday, March 1, 2013: Applications due by 5 p.m. in the Arts Council office in suite 202 at Central School.

Monday, March 25, 2013: Grant review panel held in Room 108 at Central School beginning at 9 a.m.

February 1, 2013: Grant activity period begins. For fiscal year 2013-2014 only, projects occurring in February 2013 and March 2013 are eligible. For fiscal year 2014-2015, the grant activity period will begin April 1, 2014.

March 31, 2014: Grant activity period ends. 

April 30, 2014: Hard deadline for final reports.
