About John Guidroz
I am a Southwest Louisiana native with a love for melodies and catchy tunes. I grew up surrounded by a musical family. I sang for most of my life but didn't pick up a guitar until I was 16.
After fronting some local bands, I started playing solo acoustic shows when I was 22. Seven years later, I am about to release my first solo album, "Yesterday's News." The eight songs are personal tales that showcase my range of influences, which include Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and Elvis Costello.
